Farm holiday - naturally good!

Our organic farm Bio Bauernhof Simonbauer, awarded with 4 flowers, is situated on the plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein in a sunny and quiet location, surrounded by colourful flowers and green fields. The gorgeous mountain panorama around our house is one of the reasons making this place an oasis of peace and relaxation.

The shops of Ramsau Ort are about 1,8 km away, the nearest shop about 800 m. Many varied hiking paths go past our farmhouse, amongst them the so-called hiking tour „Königsetappe“. It is 14,2 km long and you will overcome 1470 metres of altitude while walking 25.000 steps through an amazing Alpine landscape. This hike takes you to wild waters and to the four “Alpine hut-jewels”.

For your holidays in Ramsau am Dachtein our facility offers individual possibilities, it is up to you to choose between holiday apartments, holiday house, penthouse and en-suite rooms.

Our bright holiday flats with fully equipped kitchens offer sufficient room for the whole family. Guests of our apartments can take advantage of the delivery service of our own organic bakery or enjoy the buffet breakfast.

The carefully decorated rooms all have private bathrooms as well as a sitting area with a coffee maker where you find enough space for a get-together. From the balcony, you enjoy a wonderful view to our great garden, to the Schladming Tauern, and the fantastic backdrop of the Dachstein mountains.

For your breakfast, you can acquire our homemade organic produce. Guests in our en-suite rooms enjoy a rich buffet breakfast with homemade products from the family’s organic bakery and farm. Our facility combines idyllic rural countryside with according rustic environment. W-lan is available free of charge.

In winter, you are welcome to end an adventurous day in our well-being area. The Simonbauer offers an oasis of wellness of 180 sqm, consisting of a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin, a relaxation-massage room with colour light therapy, a waterfall shower and a heated bench. Take your time to unwind and to recharge your batteries for your upcoming activities.

Children have lots of fun on a large play area with about 5000 sqm, featuring a giant roofed sandpit, a tree house, a bird nest swing, billiard and table-top football, rodeo riding, a slack line course, go-karts, volleyball and no boundaries regarding the creativity of the adventurers and explorers!

Host Georg is looking forward to the little guests’ visit in the barn, furthermore our farm animals like cats, ponies, rabbits and guinea pigs can’t wait to be cuddled.

It takes about 50 minutes to hike to our hut „Lärchbodenalm“. With its nearby mountain chapel, it is certainly one of the most traditional Alpine huts of Ramsau am Dachstein and Schladming-Dachstein.

The Ramsau winter wonderland attracts with its snowed-in countryside, well groomed ski runs, cross-country trails and walking paths, as well as with a great number of cosy Alpine huts for romantic stopovers. Cross-country and walking trails are right on our doorstep.
