Bike Area

The bike area on the Planai is available to all beginners. Whether 3 of the 99 years, the Bike Area lets you learn mountain biking in a fun and safe way.  

There are 3 routes in the Bike Area in the difficulty level GREEN and BLUE. 

• Green 4% gradient
• Green 5% gradient
• Blue 7% gradient

Anyone who can master these routes safely is ready for the flowline from the mountain to the middle station.

A conveyor belt takes you up the 18hm again and so countless rounds can be made to practice and get to know each other. No ticket is required for this.

Parents can see the whole area, so the children can also do their rounds with a good view.

The bike area is located on the Planai and to get there comfortably, you take the new 10-person Planai cable car up to the top. Arrived at the top station there are 2 ways to get to the bike area. For all beginners there is the Hopsi Express (inclined lift) and with it directly down to the Bike Area. Experienced bikers can ride the Rookie Downhill (red route) to the bike area themselves.

For all those who want to make a quick decision, there is a bike rental shop right next to the bike area where you can rent bikes and protective equipment.
