The Zickhof in the Großsölktal valley in Styria is located in a quiet spot at an altitude of approx. 980 m above sea level and is the ideal starting point for many hikes and breathtaking mountain tours in summer.

Our rustically furnished farm is located in the Sölktäler Nature Park in Styria. A breathtaking mountain panorama is guaranteed at the Zickhof. Summer and winter vacations in the Sölktäler Nature Park will be an unforgettable experience.

Dogs are very welcome at the Zickhof.

The rooms at the Zickhof are rustically furnished. We offer two triple rooms, one of which is equipped with a refrigerator, and one quadruple room with a refrigerator. Every morning, a rich breakfast buffet with milk and eggs from the farm awaits you. Our rustic solid wood parlor is equipped with a TV, bar, and refrigerator.

You can enjoy cozy barbecues or parties at our unique autogrill (charcoal grill) or in the Troadkasten (a rustic 300-year-old hut). We have a children's playground for our younger guests. A variety of animals also live with us at the Zickhof in the Schladming-Dachstein vacation region, including cows, chickens, and three cats.

Summit climbers and those seeking relaxation alike will find just what they are looking for in the Sölktäler valleys. We recommend a hike to the farm's own alpine hut, about 6 km away. For hikers, there are a variety of hiking routes, ranging from easy walks to long summit tours.

Winter – the quiet time of year

The untouched nature of the Sölk valleys is particularly impressive in winter, because this untouchedness is complemented by something precious – silence. This tranquility can be fully enjoyed on a ski tour, snowshoe hike, or cross-country skiing. A romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride provides variety and lifts the spirits. For all skiing enthusiasts, the 4-mountain ski area is about a 30-minute drive away, including Reiteralm, Hochwurzen, Planai, and Hauser Kaibling.
