Welcome to your vacation apartment in House Waldhorn. Our house is situated on the eastern part of the plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein called „ Ramsau – Untere Leiten“ - a very sunny and open location in Ramsau. House Waldhorn features a fully self contained residential unit in size of 60m² suitable for 2 - 5 people. The brightly decorated apartment has its own entrance. Equipped with 2 separate bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area and a cosy living corner to relax,bathroom and a separate toilet. From your apartment window and balcony you enjoy fantastic panoramic views to the mountain range “Schladminger Tauern” in the south and to the north you look at the most impressive Dachstein peaks. The balcony is just perfect for sunbaking or simply for leting the day pass in the comfortable seatings. Relaxation is also guaranteed by enjoying our beautiful and well groomed lawn. Parking your car is easy and safe in the for you reserved garage. Upon request we offer fresh bred service (bredrolls) for breakfast. Whether in summer or winter, Ramsau am Dachstein offers a great range of infrastucture. In winter there are many daily groomed slopes for downhill skiers, or 220 km of cross country tracks for nordic skiers and 80 km packed snow- walking trails for hikers/walkers. The world known skiing area of ​​Ski amadé with its famous ski mountains such as Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm are just around the corner (approx. 5 min. by car). The local ski schools of Ramsau will look after your children. For the romantic moments enjoy a horse drawn sleigh ride through the winter fairytale landscape of Ramsau. Even in summer, Ramsau offers a great number of interesting and challenging facilities to make your holiday more diversified. Visit the adventure park (high rope course), the amusement park Ramsau Beach, fairytale and adventure trails for children, 18 via ferrata`s for kids and adults. Leisure walkers enjoy the numerous gentle walking paths leading through colourful meadows and tranquil forests. Our walking/hiking trails on the higher levels of Ramsau offer breathtaking views to the mighty and very picturesque Dachstein range. Along the tracks there are numerous rustic and quaint huts wich invite you to a well earned break. Taste the delicate local specialities of food. Our huts are the best place to try the typical Styrian Brettljause. People who want to ascend higher, use the Dachstein panoramic cable car, lifting you up to the Dachstein Glacier at 2700m above sea level. The panoramic view from up there is simply overwhelming,fantastic and absolutely unique. Please note - the ride with the cable car, together with many other chair lifts and attractions is completely free of charge with the Schladming-Dachstein Summer Card“.
