A warm welcome to the holiday paradise Ramsau am Dachstein, at the 3*** Pension Alpenglühn! We are looking forward to making your valuable holidays unforgettable and as pleasant as possible. Our comfortable Pension with family-friendly atmosphere is situated in beautifully quiet and sunny location with great views to the Dachstein mountains, ideal for your summer as well as winter activities. In winter, the cross-country trails and the winter walking paths are directly passing by our house. For all those who can’t get enough, or for romantics, there is the night cross-country trail in the Ramsau Ort stadium, lit up every evening until 21.00 h and reachable within 5 minutes. The bus stop, from where you get to Kali’s Adventure Ski Runs and to the ski amadé area with its interlinked 4 mountains Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm, is only 2 - 3 minutes by foot away. The ski lift “Bergkristall” and the local ski school are very close and can be reached by foot. Your ski gear can be safely stored in our ski storage room, and there is an extra ski-service room available. At the Pension Alpenglühn, there are only family members looking after the well-being of the guests. Furthermore, the newly renovated Pension Alpenglühn has nine comfortable double rooms and three spacious family rooms with separate bedrooms. You stay in friendly, bright rooms decorated with care, all of which have a balcony, a private bathroom with shower/WC, and Sat TV. After an active and sportive day out, you are welcome to relax on your sunny balcony with breathtaking views to the Dachstein mountains. WLAN is available free of charge in the house. In the morning, we prepare a rich breakfast for you, with jams, different kinds of mueslis, crispy home-baked bread, homemade cakes, and fresh, regional products. In winter as well as in summer, you choose from a varied 3-course set menu. In summer, the Schladming Dachstein region turns into Styria’s premium hiking area with fascinating panoramas and varied possibilities for excursions, as well as endless leisure offers including relaxing, exercising, recharging your batteries, making you forget about the day-to-day life for a while. Winter tourism does not have to be noisy - pleasurable carving turns on the ski slopes, classic parallel cross-country skiing and rhythmic skating along the groomed trails, easy-going walking along snowy winter walking paths in fresh, clear air - the idyllic sunny plateau of Ramsau is perfect and enchants holidaymakers over and over again.
