A circular tour with a walking time of around 1.5 hours, which will make you better known with Ramau am Dachstein. The path offers you insights into the special history of the Ramsau Plateau, which is closely intertwined with the history of religion. At the same time, some "Time Windows" offersyou a look back into the past. In the village of Ramsau, this round takes you past the ski jump and the cross-country stadium and thus straight into the here and now. You also walk past the Zeitroas Museum and beautiful farms. Last but not least, you will gain a wonderful impression of the hiking village of Ramsau am Dachstein on picturesque sections of the trail. Vom Infobüro Ramsau Kulm wanderst Du zur Kulmkirche. Gegenüber liegt der Kulmwirt, wo du links davon - vorbei an einem der Ramsauer "Zeitfenster" hinauf wanderst zum Anschluss an den Kulmbergrundweg #2, wo sich ein weiteres "Zeitfenster" befindet und Du nach rechts weiterwanderst. Kurz geht es über die ehemalige Skiabfahrt vom Kulmberg und danach kurz durch den Wald. Ein kurzes Steilstück bergab und Du triffst auf den "Philosophenweg" - einen breiten Spazierweg, der dich entlang des Waldrandes nach Ramsau Ort führt.
Du erreichst den Ort beim Sprungstadion an der Schanze und wanderst am Auslauf herum zur Waldschenke (hier befindet sich ebenfalls ein Wanderportal als möglicher Ausgangspunkt). Du folgst der Straße in den Ort hinauf, vorbei am Langlauf-WM-Stadion und dem Dachsteinbad Ramsau. Im Ort querst Du die Hauptstraße und gehst weiter hinauf - zwischen Museum Zeitroas und Hotel Pehab hindurch zur Evangelischen Pfarrkirche. Vor dem Gemeindeamt und oberhalb des Evangelischen Friedhofes vorbei, zweigst Du dann rechts hinauf ab und wanderst die Zufahrtsstraße hinauf bis zur Gabelung. Hier hältst Du dich rechts und gehst hinauf bis zum schönen Bauernhof vlg. Maierhofer. Direkt vor dem Hof zweigst Du nun rechts auf den Panoramaweg Ost ab und wanderst über den schönen Wiesenweg mit einigen Sitzgelegenheiten ostwärts bis zum Behrlehnerhof und Ramsauhof. Du gehst nach vor bis zum Stierergrabenweg und folgst diesem nun bergab zur Stiererkreuzung an der Landesstraße. Entlang des Gehweges an der Straße wanderst Du zurück zum Ausgangspunkt in Ramsau Kulm.
Eine etwas längere Alternative (etwa 20 Minuten länger) ist möglich, wenn du am Stierergrabenweg kurz nach dem Hotel Sporthof Austria links zum Gruberhof abzweigst und weiter dem Panoramaweg Ost folgst. Vor dem Hotel Dachsteinhof zweigst Du dann rechts hinunter auf die "Lenzgasse" ab und erreichst in der Nähe vom Hotel Berghof die Rössinger Landesstraße. Direkt unterhalb vom Hotel Berghof wanderst Du schließlich zurück nach Ramsau Kulm zum Startpunkt bei Infobüro.
From the west: Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Ennstal junction - exit in the direction of Graz/Schladming - around 20 km on the Ennstal federal road to Schladming - Ramsau junction.
From the east: Pyhrnautobahn in the direction of Liezen Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming - Ramsau junction.
Follow the Ramsauer Landesstraße to the Ramsauer Plateau and continue from there to Ramsau Kulm to the Ramsau information office.
With the ÖBB trains to Schladming train station and from there with bus #960 of the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe to Ramsau am Dachtein - Kulm stop.

- Changes in weather patterns, quick falls in temperature, thunderstorms, wind, fog and snow are some of the dangers that can be encountered on a hiking tour.
- Poor equipment, overestimation of one's own capabilities, carelessness, poor personal constitution and/or wrong judgement can lead to critical situations.
- Much is nicer together and at the same time safer in the mountains. Do not go alone if possible and adapt the tour to the ability of your group.
- Let someone know where you're going and when you want to be back. Sign up in the hut or summit books.
- If the weather turns bad, turn back in good time. If you get caught in a thunderstorm, don't stay on the summit or ridge and stay away from individual trees. Wait for the thunderstorm to crouch if possible.
- Stay on the marked trails and remember to close pasture fences again.

Der Weg ist für Kinderwägen mit größeren Rädern geeignet. Hierfür folgst Du zu Beginn ab der Kulmkirche noch der Straße bis zur Alten Schmiede, wo der Philosophenweg beginnt.
Wählt man vom Starpunkt beim Tourismusbüro bis zum Beginn des Philosophenweges bei der Alten Schmiede den Weg am Gehsteig entlang der Landesstraße, so ist der Weg auch kinderwagentauglich.
