Dachstein peak climb in winter

The highlight of the winter vacation is a winter ascent of the Hohe Dachstein!

The Hohe Dachstein is with its almost 3,000 m the highest mountain in Styria and is known far beyond our borders!

From the top station of the Dachstein cable car we reach the highest mountain in Styria in about 2 - 3 hours! With touring skis or snowshoes we go to the entrance - Randkluft. From there we continue with crampons to the summit and back again! Prerequisites are surefootedness and a head for heights. A good condition for about 4 - 5 hours walking time is required but no climbing experience is necessary! We recommend the Dachstein summit climb as a private tour with 1 to 2 people.

Climbing harness, helmet and crampons are provided by us free of charge!
Guided tours are possible daily if conditions are suitable and the Dachstein cable car is open!
