Ski Opening 2023 in Schladming

The Schladming-Dachstein Tourist Board is offering packages for the ski opening - all packages are currently sold out, but there is a waiting list. You can put your name on the waiting list here.

2 nights in accommodation of your choice, a 2-day Ski amadé ski pass and a concert ticket for the Ski Opening.
The package from 06.-08.12.2023 also includes the entrance to the Warm Up Party on 06.12.2023 in the Hohenhaus Tenne.

The concert tickets can be purchased via Ö-Ticket:

Yes, there will be a shuttle bus on 07 and 08 December 2023 for the Ski Opening.

Yes, there will already be skiing. The number of open facilities depends on the snow conditions.

The opening hours of the Hohenhaus Tenne in the week of the Ski Opening are as follows:

• Wednesday from 8:00 p.m
• Thursday, Friday from 5 p.m

As part of the concert days, there will be a Ski Opening Fan Mile in the centre of Schladming from 15:00 with DJs, live bands and several highlights.

Access to the Mile is free and also possible without a Ski Opening Ticket.

• Ski test with Atomic on the Planai
• Ski test with Atomic, Völkl and Elan on the Reiteralm 
• Fashion show on the highest catwalk on the Reiteralm

• Entrance standing room: located at the back of the Planet Planai valley station
• Entrance Front of Stage:
  • 1. The entrance is between the “Hohenhaustenne” building and the panorama stage coming from Coburgstrasse
  • 2. Entrance is at the back of the Planet Planai valley station
• Panoramatribüne: located on Coburgstrasse, directly at the back of the stand
• Entrance VIP indoor area: located at the main entrance to Congress Schladming at Europaplatz 800
• VIP Panoramatribüne entrance: located on Coburgstrasse, directly at the back of the grandstand
• Hohenhaustenne entrance: located on Coburgstrasse
• Entrance for wheelchair spaces: located at the back of the stands on Coburgstrasse

Admission control: Please have your valid concert ticket ready at the admission gates. Please note that there may be temporary internet connection failures due to the high number of visitors. Therefore, please load your mobile ticket onto your cell phone in advance to avoid problems and delays at the entrance.

Planai car park:
Parking in the Planai multi-storey car park during the ski operation: 08:15-15:00 (latest exit at 15:00).
Parking in the Planai multi-storey car park during the concert: entry only from 15:00-16:30
Exit from the Planai car park: only 30 minutes after the end of the event, without exception.

Planai underground car park: 
Parking in the underground car park during the concert: Entry only from 15:00-16:00 
Exit from the underground car park is only possible after the end of the event, without exception. 

Additional parking facilities: 

• P3 car park
• Planai-West car park 
• and regular public car parks 
• Shuttle buses also run according to the timetable.

Parking at Planet Planai

Underground car park

• From 8:00 to 15:00, our ski guests can enter and exit the car park via the tunnel.
• From 15:00 there is no exit!
• From 15:00 to 16:00 it is possible for concert visitors to enter via the tunnel.
• From 16:00 there is no more access to the underground car park!
• From the end of the event until 01:00 the exit is open.

Multi-storey car park

• From 8:00 to 15:00, entry via the tunnel and exit via the west side is possible for our ski guests.
• From 15:00 there is no exit!
• From 15:00 to 16:30, concert visitors can enter via the rescue lane on the west side of Planet Planai.
• From 16:30 there is no more access to the car park!
• The exit is open from approx. 30 minutes after the end of the event until 01:00.

Access to the ski depot

Access to the ski depot in the basement & on the first floor is possible via the entrance in Planet Planai until 16:30.
From 16:30 there is NO more access to both ski depots!

Opening hours Infopoint & Bründl Sports Shop in Planet Planai
The Infopoint and the Bründl Sports Shop are closed from 17:00.

Planai cable car operating hours
The Planai main cable car is in regular operation from 8.15 am to 4.15 pm.
Detours are to be expected for the valley descent from 4.30 pm, as access to the Planai Stadium is no longer possible.
