Oh, what luck! We are an organic family business , located in the beautiful Ramsau am Dachstein , at over 1,000 m above sea level. We have been operating a mobile chicken coop since May 2020 and will be offering our organic eggs from June in our own self-service shop .
Here you can shop with a clear conscience: You buy regional food of the best organic quality from us and can convince yourself that animal welfare is our top priority. 290 hens enjoy the exercise on the fresh meadows and the advantages of our innovative chicken coop. The best thing to do is to test the taste of our high quality eggs yourself. You will also get to know our happy chickens on this occasion.

About us
Already soon 30 years is our farm in Ramsau am Dachstein one organic farm . Our father ran the farm full-time and was one of the first in the region to run the farm organically - that was something special back then. Already at that time the Lienlbauer was known for his happy chickens and we were asked again and again about the tasty organic eggs . When Lorenz took over the farm from his father in 2019, he was looking for a way to combine work on the farm and his learned profession in the cheese dairy. Then the idea came to him to build on the past and specialize in chicken farming .
As a trained master cheese maker, Lorenz brings great pleasure and expertise in the field of food production. Magdalena is a kindergarten and special kindergarten teacher, currently a full-time mom. Our children Leonhard and Matthias are already enthusiastic farmers and take great pleasure in our animals. We live on the farm with Grandma Anneliese.

We look forward to your visit to our self-service farm shop . From June 2020 you can buy organic eggs in different packaging sizes here : Choose between boxes of 6 and 10 as well as the special egg box with space for 1 kg of eggs. The self-made farm shop is clearly visible next to the street and is open around the clock. He is our special pride. The idea behind it: We want to promote regional purchasing and give many people the opportunity to buy fresh organic eggs of the best quality from the farm. It is important to us that consumers relate to the chickens and the end product. This is how they meet the animals on the farm and our happy chickens can also take a close look at who is buying their eggs.
Our Chickens
Happy outdoor life on an organic farm
290 brown organic hens live in our mobile chicken coop , they are very sociable and curious. They only eat the best grass and high-quality organic feed . Thanks to the healthy free-range husbandry and animal welfare, each of the chickens spoils us with around 300 eggs a year. On our farm you can see the chicken coop from afar. Our customers may also come across the Tauern pinto goats. This rare breed of livestock feels just as comfortable on our farm as the quail, which makes us happy with their special, small, spotted eggs.
