The Nickel Museum shows what used to be made of this precious metal and what nickel is now used for: invisible in many ways, but nevertheless indispensable. The wide spectrum of objects made of nickel in the past and present ranges from "tea chests to leg prostheses".
For our youngest, a little mountain goblin called "Nicki" tells how the shiny silver metal was named after him. Throughout the exhibition he points to those pieces where there is something especially for children to discover. "Nicki" brings the exhibition to life for young visitors and invites them to do their own research.
