Nature.Power.Place Pürglitz
Places of natural power
Data:
Tour description
The Pürglitz fortification was built as an earthwork in 1800/01 and was part of a defensive line against Napoleonic troops. Today, the forest predominates. Just a 10-minute walk downhill is the Capuchin Monastery of Irdning, a place of silence and contemplation. The monastery church is open daily, and a visit is highly recommended. Both places – the Pürglitz Forest and the monastery – can be experienced as protective spaces.
THE RESONANCE EXERCISE
MY SAFE SPACE – MY FREE SPACE
For you
- Through experimentation, find your own most beautiful place, one that promises both safety and freedom.
- There, plant your feet firmly on the ground, consciously straighten your spine little by little, loosen your knees, pull your shoulders back and down, and tilt your chin toward your larynx.
- Consciously breathe the power of the earth into your body through your feet (power of the earth) and breathe out the old through your feet (transformation through the earth). You can accompany your breath with UP and DOWN movements.
- Perform this exercise within a group of trees along a forest path and notice differences, e.g., between various positions in the center of the group or at the edge.
- Perform the breathing exercise facing each other or in a circle, finding the same breathing rhythm breath by breath as if by itself. Your own audible IN and EXH supports the others.
- Experience the position exercise on the Pürglitz together rather than with trees and notice the difference between forming the circle for others or standing in the center yourself and enjoying the attention.
- Couples can experience the different positions together, quietly side by side, and then share their thoughts.
Focus
- Movement
- Mental Strengthening
- Strengthening the spine, breathable
- The stable EARTH stance with a focus on the feet and their connection to the ground strengthens fine motor skills in the ankle area, especially on uneven terrain.
- All involved muscle groups and joint systems are regularly activated and strengthened, especially when maintaining and adjusting the standing position described above for longer periods.
- Deep inhalation and exhalation, involving the arms, soothingly opens the chest. Oxygen intake is higher in the chest, sides, and abdomen with deep breathing, while simultaneously lowering blood pressure and reducing stress. The deeper the breathing, the more the surrounding organs benefit from the "massage."
- Protective
- Relaxing (especially during deep exhalation)
- Strengthening SELF-Power
Where do I feel safe and relaxed? How does that feel in my body? How do I experience freedom in the forest?
