From beginners to little slope pros: Galsterberg offers ideal conditions for families. Two conveyor belts – one in the Galstiland and one in Koxi’s ski school area – help children learn to ski with ease. Attractive discounts complete the offer.
Free ski passes
for toddlers up to 6 years
In the 2025/26 winter season, family holidays will be even more relaxed: All children up to the age of six ski for free in the Schladming-Dachstein region as well as at Galsterberg.
Especially for families with young children, this is a real added value when planning a winter holiday. Clear, easy-to-manage slopes, gentle terrain and child-friendly practice areas at Galsterberg ensure a playful and stress-free introduction to winter sports.
This makes skiing easier, more affordable and even more attractive for families – turning a winter holiday at Galsterberg into a time to remember.
Important information:
All children born in 2020 or later require a ticket to pass the turnstiles. This ticket is free of charge (keycard deposit € 3) and available at the ticket offices.
Family bonus
From the third child in a family , the other children and teenagers ski for free. Large families also ski for less in Ski amadé.
Prerequisite:
- Official family certificate
- Joint main residence
- Joint ski pass purchase required for at least one parent and the first two children or teenagers for the same validity period!

The offer for families with a non-skiing infant under the age of 3.
The ticket can be used alternately by one of the two parents .
Young family ski ticket is available at the normal adult rate from 2 days Ski Amade.
