Grimming-Donnersbachtal
Nature.Power.Place Heathen Hill
Places of natural power
Data:
Tour description
- The heathen hill was probably created artificially. Graves or wooden structures are suspected beneath it. Because of the wild herbs, the site was already used for solstice festivals and other annual cycle festivals. The location invites you to experience the contrast between lively earlier festivals in the meadow and the silence among the trees behind it.
THE RESONANCE EXERCISE
HEATH HILL EARTH-SKY GESTURE
For you
- Find a good spot and position at the top of the heathen hill.
- Similar to the (dry) scooping gesture at the nearby Heiligenbrunn, slowly lower your hands in a bowl in front of your body, absorbing the power of the heathen hill into it. Then raise the bowl above your head, capturing the light, and distributing both qualities around your body with arms and fingers fully extended. To do this, lower your arms in large circles to your sides.
- Vibrant repetitions deepen the exercise.
Focus
- Movement
- Mental Strengthening
- Strengthening, motor, stretching
- The scooping gesture also strengthens in the up and down movement: the more energetically the exercise is performed, the more effective it is.
- During the upward movement, the spine is stretched naturally, and during the subsequent arm movement, the entire shoulder-arm line is also stretched.
- By stretching the arms, the exercise also promotes the adaptation of fine motor skills through the adaptation of the arms and hands (the "bowl").
Mental
- Perceiving yourself as part of the greater whole
How do I perceive my connection with earth and heaven?
