Sleigh ride Oberhorner-Vorberg
Tour description
Beautiful and a bit longer ride on the horse-drawn sleigh, which is very sunny most of the time. The ride connects Pichl-Vorberg with Ramsau-Vorberg and has Gasthof Stocker and Frienerstube inns to stop for refreshments on the way. Don't forget your sunglasses - it might be sunny :)
Rides with the horse-drawn sleigh have to be booked in advance. In Pichl-Vorberg, family Pitzer of the Oberhorner farm is your provider: +43 6454 7369. There is a minimum fee per sleigh. Additionally the prices depend on the length of the tour agreed upon with the respective provider. Kids up to 10 years get a 50 % reduction. If the ride ends after 7 pm there is a night shift premium!

Starting at Oberhornerhof farm, this sleigh ride takes you across Pichl-Vorberg passing by Brandstätterhof, Astlhof (with its "Jausenplatzl" inn) and Faslhof farms. You cross over the Griessbach creek and continue to Ramsau-Vorberg. Passing by Kobaldhof and Blasbichler farms you reach the meadwos of "Märchenwiese" (fairytale meadows) near Zechmannhof farm. There, a loop takes you past Frienerstube and Gasthof Stocker inns, where you can stop for refreshments. Eventually you continue towards Pichl-Vorberg and Oberhornerhof farm again. Remark: of course the route always depends on the weather conditions and firmness of underground!
