Map, elevation profile & further information

Along the cross-country ski trail from Mößna to St. Nikolai or vice versa, there is a groomed footpath. The path climbs slightly from Mößna to St. Nikolai. The Sölkbach stream accompanies the winter hiker along the entire route in the Sölktäler Nature Park.

If you would like to extend the tour, the trail leads further into the Bräualmtal valley.

Finally, you can stop off at the Gasthof "Zum Gamsjäger" or at the Hansenalm.

Please note: The winter hike is only possible if the cross-country ski trail is open due to the weather. You can find the current trail report here.

From the A10: at Altenmarkt (exit 63) turn off in the direction of Graz. Follow the B99 to Radstadt. Here take the B320 towards Graz. At Pruggern follow the signposts in the direction of the nature park.

From the A9: at Selzthal (exit 69) turn off towards Liezen/Radstadt. From Liezen follow the B320 to Espang. There turn in the direction of Niederöblarn/Naturpark Söltäler.

To the route: In the centre of Stein an der Enns, turn towards St. Nikolai and follow the road to Mößna.

At the Stockerfeld lift in Mößna or at the car parks on the outskirts of St. Nikolai.

No public access possible in winter.
  • Winter mountain boots or sturdy shoes with a good profile and possibly gaiters.
