From the valley station you first run eastwards in the direction of the Spechtenseehütte and there - slightly downhill to the Spechtensee lake. In an anti-clockwise direction, you now go around the lake and over two loops a little further east, before you make your way back towards the Spechtenseelift.
Approximately 3 km from the starting point at Wörschachwalderhof to the lake and back.The circuit around the lake is unfortunately not possible.
Leave the B145 Salzkammergut highway at Klachau/Zlem in the direction of Wörschachwald and follow the Wörschachwaldweg for about 6 km to the Spechtenseelift.Car parking is available at the Spechtenseelift.
Stop at the Spechtensee hut.
