Sonnenhof is set on a scenic hill surrounded by mountains, offering breathtaking views of one of the most beautiful alpine landscapes in the heart of Austria. A place to arrive, breathe deeply, and recharge.

In summer, countless opportunities await: hiking, cycling, and exploring the region’s highlights such as Gesäuse National Park, the Dachstein, or the Salzkammergut. A special highlight are our shared alpine hut days with campfires and a swim in the warmest alpine lake in Styria.

In winter, several ski areas such as Schladming, Planneralm, Riesneralm, and Tauplitzalm are within easy reach. We are also happy to offer a pick-up service from the train or bus station.

 Farm Life – Authentic & Family-Friendly

Here, you are right in the middle of farm life: feeding animals, collecting eggs, playing in the hay, or watching the milking process. Our animals enjoy plenty of space in open stables and on pasture – respectful and mindful animal care is very important to us.

 Organic, Homemade & Mindful

Many of our foods are lovingly made right here on the farm as a hobby on passion project: fresh bread, dairy products, jams, and juices. Together with other families, we also grow vegetables – offering plenty to discover for vegetarian and vegan guests.

 Yoga & Relaxation with Karina

Karina guides you through gentle and dynamic Hatha yoga sessions, helping you find mindfulness, flexibility, and inner balance. Whether in the orchard, overlooking the mountains, or in a शांत setting – yoga becomes a truly special nature experience here.

These moments are complemented by the peaceful atmosphere of the farm: unwind, breathe deeply, and regain your energy.

Enjoy cozy evenings by the campfire, making music together, or simply relaxing in a hammock. Children have plenty of space to play and explore, while adults can truly switch off.

Our alpine cabin offers a unique nature experience with panoramic views, a campfire, outdoor shower, and jakuzzi. Ideal for families and groups – perfect for sunrise hikes, stargazing, and unforgettable shared moments.

 Sonnenhof is ideal for families and groups who want to combine nature, self-catering, and high-quality organic products – all in a place of genuine tranquility, warmth, and holistic relaxation.
