Our family run pension lays in a quiet and sunny position in Ramsau Leiten, with a fantastic view to the Tauern mountains in the south and the Dachstein mountain range in the north. The walking paths just around the corner are waiting to be discovered by you. Take a walk or go for a hike in the great nature of Ramsau and surroundings.
In winter, you enter the cross country slopes - classic as well as skating tracks - just outside the Sonnenhügel, as well as the winter walking path. Only 100 m to the skibus station in case you wish to take the bus to the skilifts.

You will enjoy our cuisine. In the morning we propose a rich breakfast buffet, in the evening we serve a three course dinner with a salad's buffet for our guests who choose the half board.
Our family-run guesthouse, Gasthof Pension Sonnenhügel, is on the quiet, sunny
plateau of Ramsau am Dachstein, with fantastic views across the surrounding
mountains.

In our guesthouse, we offer homely single, double and family (triple)
rooms, with all the mod cons for a fabulously relaxing holiday: shower/WC,
TV, phone and balcony.

Treat yourself to our Styrian hospitality, starting your day with the large
breakfast buffet. In the evening, tuck in to a tasty three-course dinner with salad
buffet. All our meals are prepared with high quality regional produce.

Our village of Ramsau am Dachstein is a paradise for cross-country skiers. With
its vast 220 km-network of cross-country trails, you have the choice of skating
or classic cross-country skiing. Or you could head out on 70 km of winterwalking
paths on the Ramsau plateau.

If you prefer alpine skiing, enjoy the thrill of skiing at the famous ski resorts of
Schladming - Planai, Hauser Kaibling, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm, surrounded
by their unique mountains. From our home, you can get to the base station of the
Planai in a few minutes by car or by bus. If you are a beginner, take to the easy
learner slopes at Ramsau am Dachstein.

In summer, Ramsau am Dachstein is an eldorado for climbers, with gorgeous via
ferratas, and hikes and walks through lush meadows all the way to crystal clear
lakes, all gloriously close to Gasthof Pension Sonnenhügel. In winter, the crosscountry
trails and winter-walking paths pass by our front door, or, you can hop
on a bus to the alpine ski centres.

In summer, we are a partner of the Schladming - Dachstein Sommercard.

as gondola lifts, chairlifts, museums, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, toll
