This largely groomed ski tour is perfect for all sporty beginners who want to explore the Ramsauer Almen. The tour takes you along the forest paths up to the valley station of the Dachstein Gletscherbahn. The descent via the ski trail is suitable for everyone.

The starting point of this ski tour is at Gasthof Edelbrunn. From there, follow the gently inclining ski trail towards Brandalm. After approx. 20 min, turn left (according to the marking) into the forest. A flat and at parts declining forest trail “Durch die Schlitzen” follows along a creek crossing. There, go uphill until you reach the Dachsteinstraße. Go parallel to the street and after approx. 200m you will reach Glösalm where you can stop for a little rest. From there, continue up to Walcheralm and up the slope to Hotel Dachstein, Gasthof Hunerkogel and Berghotel Türlwandhütte. The ski trail will lead you back to the valley. This trail will lead you via Brandalm to the Dachsteinhaus and finally back to Gasthof Edelbrunn.

From the west:

Tauern Autobahn (A 10) to Knoten Ennstal - turnoff direction Graz/Schladming - stay on the Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B320) for approx. 20 km until Schladming - take the turnoff for Ramsau.

From the north:

Pyhrn Autobahn (A 9) direction Liezen - take the Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B320) to Schladming - turnoff Ramsau.

Gasthof Edelbrunn - metered parking

Take the 960 bus to the Ski Willy/Rittislift stop.
