Detour via Klachaustrasse to Untergrimming.

Tour description

THE NATURE ON THE TRACK you hike from Trautenfels Castle via Unterburg to Pürgg. Continue along the old church path to Gasthof Dachsteinblick and then down to Lessern, where the nature trail along "the" Grimming once again lives up to its name.

The hike takes you from Trautenfels Castle via Unterburg, past the Pfanner farm to Pürgg. On the church path No. 278 you hike to the Dachsteinblick inn and continue via the Gindl farm to Lessern. Here begins the nature trail no. 294, which leads you along the Grimmingbach back to Trautenfels Castle.

On the B320 coming from Liezen or Schaldming, at the Trautenfels traffic circle, take the exit towards Irdning. After about 100m turn right up to Trautenfels Castle.Free-Parking at the Castle Trauetenfels

Let others know where you are going and when you plan to be back.
Turn back in good time if the weather deteriorates. If you are caught in a thunderstorm, stay away from free-standing trees and wait out the storm, crouching if possible.
Stay on marked trails and remember to close pasture fences.
If you are a dog owner: Clarify before the hike if you have to cross a pasture. Keep your dog on a leash and make sure it stays calm. If a cow attacks, let the dog off the leash immediately. Never pick him up to defend him.
