Welcome to the historic Hotel Taferne in Mandling. The small village near Schladming is a geographical curiosity. Mandling lies exactly on the border of the provinces of Salzburg and Styria and is a divided village. Our Hotel-Restaurant Taferne is therefore situated in the middle of the recreation and hiking area "Schladming-Dachstein" as well as in the extensive area "Ski amadé" in summer and winter. The parking place directly in front of the hotel offers enough space - also for buses - and can be reached comfortably and without snow chains.
In winter, the ski bus runs directly from the hotel to the Reiteralm valley station and the entrance to the cross-country ski trail is 200 m away.
In summer, our large sunbathing lawn next to the swimming pool offers enough space to relax. The cycle path or hiking trail leads directly past us.
