A warm welcome to Haus Sonja!

If you are looking for a sunny and quiet location for your holidays, you have come to the right place - at any time of the year.

Enjoy the great panorama and in particular the direct view to the Dachstein, Styria’s highest peak and Ramsau’s local mountain attracting with its glacier in summer as well as in winter.

Our Haus Sonja is an ideal starting point for walks and hikes together with a partner or with the whole family. The splendid location in the middle of one of Austria’s most beautiful hiking regions with countless Alpine lakes and pastures is a special treat for mountaineers.

In winter, you can access the network of 220 km cross-country trails right on the doorstep. The family friendly ski resort Ramsau am Dachstein can be reached by car in 2 km. 

Our guesthouse Sonja offers 2 holiday flats for 4 or 5 persons. All of them have a generously and fully equipped kitchen featuring an electric cooker, an oven, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a dining area that invites you to settle back. In the rooms, there is full bedding, towels, SAT TV and a large balcony. Furthermore, there is a swimming pool (11 x 6 m) available right at our house.

Start into the day with breakfast on the sunny terrace and you will be ready for all your upcoming adventures. Take advantage of the delivery service offered by the local bakery, providing fresh bread and bread rolls in the morning.

In our garage, there is enough room for your sports equipment, such as bikes, Alpine and cross-country skis, or paragliding equipment.

We do, of course, think about our little guests: please let us know whether you require a cot or a toddler bed when booking with us.

Ramsau am Dachstein offers internationally recognised cross-country trails and ski pistes in “Kalis winter world” and the Ski amade area. Additionally, you find varied amazing activities in unspoilt nature, such as snowshoeing, ski tours, free-ride tours, or romantic sleigh rides.

In summer, you will enjoy some top-class leisure activities! The slogan is adventure, fun and recreation in the unique scenery of Ramsau of Dachstein. There is no other place in Styria offering such a large number of activities, as does the Rittisberg that is practically on our doorstep.
