Gasthaus Krenn

The traditional Gasthaus Krenn in Pürgg, a Kulinarium Steiermark award-winning establishment, has been combining warm hospitality with genuine culinary delights since the 14th century. In the cozy tavern with its tiled stove or on the popular veranda, guests can enjoy regional specialties prepared according to grandmother's recipes. The kitchen places particular emphasis on seasonal products from the surrounding area and has been awarded 2024/25 a toque (12.5 points) by Gault&Millau and 2 forks (88 points) in the Falstaff Guide.

In summer, the romantic guest garden with a view of Trautenfels Castle and the surrounding fields invites you to linger. The adjoining grocery store offers homemade specialties and souvenirs to take home.
