The trail starts at Gasthof Rüscher in Donnersbach. The marked trail leads you initially on a path along the stream and through the forest to the forest road, on which you hike a short distance downhill and then left on the main path to Raumberg. Go straight past the few houses until you reach the fork. Turn right here and walk down the path to the main road and cross it. After a few meters out of the valley in the direction of Irdning, turn right up the path at the small crossroads, past the meadow to Winklern. From there, turn right again, always following the markings, on the road to the chapel. After the chapel, turn right down the dirt road until you reach some houses again. Walk past them until you reach a bend. Here you turn left, first across the dirt road and then right downhill to the main road. Along the sidewalk, parallel to the road, you go back to the village.

At Trautenfels or Wörschach turn off the B320 in the direction of Irdning and then continue to Donnersbach.Parking opposite the Gasthof Rüscher or opposite the Raika.

With the bus 941 to the busstop ,,Donnersbach Ort''. Here is also the start point. No bus conections between summer holidays.

Let others know where you are going and when you want to be back.
Turn back in good time if the weather deteriorates. If you are caught in a thunderstorm, stay away from free-standing trees and wait out the storm, crouching if possible.
Stay on marked trails and remember to close pasture fences.
If you are a dog owner: Clarify before the hike if you need to cross a pasture. Keep your dog on a leash and make sure it stays calm. If a cow attacks, let the dog off the leash immediately. Never pick him up to defend him.

Good shoes, clothes and a backpack for a snack.
