Welcome to the Cosy Alpine House – Holiday Home Krois, your private retreat for a relaxing holiday in the Austrian Alps. The detached holiday home was completely and stylishly renovated from September 2025 to May 2026 and combines modern living comfort with cozy Alpine flair.

On a quiet plot of 2,400 m², you can enjoy complete privacy. The house offers around 100 m² of living space and is exclusively available for your use during your stay.

The House

The holiday home features:

-2 comfortable bedrooms each with a double bed (200 × 180 cm) and a spacious 5-door mirror wardrobe
-spacious living and dining room
-fully equipped kitchen
-modern bathroom with walk-in rain shower
-separate WC with additional sink
-large sun terrace with stunning mountain panorama

Only the room to the left of the entrance area is excluded - the technical room.

High-quality Facilities

During the general renovation, numerous updates were made:

-Photovoltaic system
-Underfloor heating in kitchen, bathroom, WC, and hallway
-Infrared heating panels in living and bedrooms
-new aluminum windows with high-quality thermal insulation glazing
-new house and terrace door
-high-quality solid wood doors throughout the interior

For cozy evenings, there is also the traditional tiled stove, which not only warms the living room but also both bedrooms pleasantly via warm air outlets.

Kitchen

The modern kitchen is fully equipped.

Bathroom

The bathroom offers:

-mirror cabinet
-electric towel radiator with timer

The WC is separate and also equipped with a small sink.

A fiber optic connection with 300 Mbit/s is available.

The large terrace invites you to relax and offers a breathtaking view of the Grimming, the Gesäuse, and the surrounding mountains.

The municipality of Mitterberg-St. Martin is located on a sunny high plateau and offers an impressive view of the mighty Grimming, the highest free-standing mountain in Europe.

The Mitterberg-St. Martin activity arena includes 14 varied routes for hikers, runners, and Nordic walking enthusiasts. In winter, you can expect perfectly groomed cross-country skiing trails as well as a floodlit toboggan run.

A special power spot is the Salza waterfall, which captivates with its impressive natural backdrop in summer and winter.
