Fairy Tale Trail Rittisberg
Tour description
The fairy tale trail on the Rittisberg is an enchanting hike for the whole family. You hike along a newly created forest path from the valley station of the Rittisbergbahn to the Rittisstadl and high-altitude playground. In between, various fairy tale stations promise great entertainment. Younger guests should take a good look at the stations - because a very special surprise awaits them at the Rittisstadl.
The path is easily accessible with a pram down the valley.

From the Rittisstadl you walk downhill in an easterly direction past the high-altitude playground - with a wonderful view of the Ramsau plateau in front of you. The path turns left and then south via a right-hand bend. Shortly afterwards you join a road. Follow this for about 300 m. Before crossing the alpine pasture, which is the Rittisberg Süd ski run in winter, turn left downhill into the forest. Now follow the fairytale trail through the forest and along various stations into the valley.
From west:
Tauernautobahn A 10 to the Ennstal junction - exit in the direction of Graz/Schladming - around 20 km on the Ennstal federal road to Schladming - Ramsau junction. Continue to Ramsau-Schildlehen and the Rittisberg car park.
From East/North:
Pyhrnautobahn in the direction of Liezen Ennstalbundesstraße to Schladming - Ramsau junction. Continue to Ramsau-Schildlehen to the Rittisberg car park.
With the buses of the Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe from Schladming (also from the train station) to Ramsau to the Rittisbergbahn/Ski Willy stop. Ramsauer Verkehrsbetriebe timetable www.rvb.at.
In 3 minutes to the Rittisbergbahn valley terminal.
Hiking or trekking shoes with grip sole, jacket.
The trail is also suitable for prams.
