At Haus Häusler on the Planneralm, Styria’s highest mountain village.

Three bedrooms, your own entrance and a spacious living and dining room: our holiday apartment welcomes families and families holidaying together, with room for up to ten guests. Rustic, practical and cosy, with space to gather and space to unwind.

The large table is made for leisurely breakfasts, board games and stories about the day. Cook together, linger a little longer and enjoy your holiday at your own pace.

Snow outside. Family time inside.

In the morning, snow crunches underfoot. Snowmen take shape just outside the door, with the snow-covered slopes of the Planneralm all around. The ski slopes are close by, leaving time for a little stroll through the snowy mountain village too.

After a day on the slopes, your boots dry on the heated boot dryers. Back in the warm living and dining room, it is time to cook, play and share stories. If you fancy heading out again in the evening, take a walk through the snow and gaze up at the stars when the sky is clear. If you are feeling tired, settle in and get cosy.

Breakfast in the fresh mountain air, a walk through alpine meadows, a pause to watch the bumblebees: on the Planneralm, each day can unfold at your own pace. Meadows and walking trails start right outside the house.

Later, gather together again, cook something delicious or linger outdoors until the evening air turns cool. We are happy to share quieter paths and lovely spots with sweeping mountain views, suited to the weather, the time you have and how you feel that day.
