3:00 p.m.: Start of the Dachstein Culinary Run
6:00 p.m.: Dachstein Run Mountain Hut Evening

Sunday, January 17, 2027 - Classic Races
9:30 a.m.: Start of the Dachstein Classic 40 km Race
10:00 a.m.: Start of the Dachstein Classic 10 km Race
12:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony for the 10 km race
1:00 p.m.: Awards ceremony for the 40 km race

Race Number Pickup

Friday, January 15, through Saturday, January 17, 2027

Race bibs will be distributed at the Dachstein Event Center at the following times:

Friday, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Race number pickup for the Kids Race will take place on Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. directly at the Dachstein Event Center.

From Friday through Sunday, various exhibitors will also be at the Dachstein Event Center with samples available for testing and ready to provide detailed information about their products.

Team Competition

Put together your team and enjoy 10 km of sports, fun, and team spirit! The team’s time is based on the four fastest members; starting with the fifth participant, you’ll receive a 25% discount—register via Time2Win; the discount code will be sent to you by email.

Kids' Race

On Friday afternoon, the cross-country trail belongs to the young cross-country skiers: The children's race begins at 3:00 p.m. with mass starts in various age groups.

Dachstein Culinary Run

The Culinary Run isn't about time or competition—it's all about enjoyment. Along the 5-kilometer course, you'll find several refreshment stations offering regional delicacies—a unique culinary cross-country skiing experience.

Hut evening

After a day of cross-country skiing, an evening at the rustic Ramsauer Waldschenke is the perfect way to wind down. Look forward to regional delicacies, great music, and a fun time with friends.

Questions & Answers

Can I still come along even if I’m not taking part in the Dachstein Run?

Yes. Spectators are very welcome and can watch the competitions and enjoy the varied programme of events.

Where are the events taking place?

Most of the programme events take place in and around the Ramsau am Dachstein World Championships Cross-Country Skiing Stadium. Individual events, such as the mountain hut evening, are held at selected venues in Ramsau.

What happens in bad weather?

The Dachstein Run will generally go ahead even in winter weather conditions. Should any changes to the programme be necessary, these will be announced in good time on the website and via the official channels.
