The tour
From the center of the village, this hike takes you to the front part of Donnersbachwald. The forest leaves you again and again nice view windows for a photo free. If not snowed in, you will also find benches with "Gstanzln" and anecdotes about the local farms.
Turn-by-turn directions
From the parking lot in the center of the village the tour starts over the bridge and straight ahead towards Mörsbachalm. Along the prepared path to the next bridge and there turn right. Continue straight ahead for a short distance before turning left onto the unprepared forest path.  Continue along trail 3a out of the valley, always straight ahead. Before the brook crosses the path, you leave the forest road and turn down into the farming settlement. Through the settlement to the road and from there along the sidewalk back to the village center to the starting point.
Getting there
Turn off the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) at the crossing Trautenfels in direction Irdning, Donnersbach, Donnersbachwald. Through the village Donnersbach and another 12 km to Donnersbachwald.
Take the bus 941 to the stop "Donnersbachwald Ort". There you will also find the starting point of the hike.
