This beginner's course focuses on physical fitness. After a short warm-up phase for the main muscle groups, you learn the smooth, swinging body movements to get the golf ball moving. Not only the round physical movements, but also the concentration are demanded and promoted here. Golf is a form of exercise, coupled with excitement, which can be practiced into old age and can therefore make an important contribution to health promotion.
Health aspect:
When you play golf, you move around the golf course and therefore in nature. During an average 18-hole round of golf, around 1,200 to 2,000 calories are burned, depending on the intensity of the game. Up to 17 different muscle groups are activated during a single golf swing, with the legs, back, arms and abdominal muscles being the main groups. In addition, the strategic nature of golf contributes to mental fitness. Golfers report improved concentration and mental clarity.
