Dachstein ascent normal route

With the ascent of the 2995m high Dachstein, you stand on the highest peak in Styria.

Programme:

We meet at 07.30 am at the car park of the Dachstein Südwand cable car.
After a short programme briefing, we will complete our equipment and take the cable car up to the Hunerkogel.
There we start our tour in the direction of the Seethalerhütte. We pass the high and low Dirndl and after around 40 minutes we reach the start of the shoulder via ferrata (difficulty: B/C). This leads us to the beautiful summit. After a short break, we descend via the Randkluftsteig with a marvellous glacier backdrop.
Walking time: 4 hours ascent / 360 metres
