The path around the Steirischen Bodensee is an easy and very beautiful walk in an alpine landscape. At the foot of the towering mountains we enjoy the romantic mood. Also very impressing is the waterfall near to the Bodensee.

Popis trasy

From the parking area you follow the way appr. 15 minutes until you reach the Steirische Bodensee. Around the lake leads a forest road. The whole walk takes app. 45 minutes.

between end of May and mid October: Planaibus (Line: Schladming - Haus - Steirischer Bodensee)

Otherwise no arrival with public transport possible.

Insufficient equipment, exaggerated opinion of ones capabilities, frivolousness, poor health condition and a false evaluation of the situation can lead to a critical situation. In thunder storms: summits, crest-sites and safety rope aids are to be avoided.
