Karlspitze 2.212 m - Ski tour
gemiddeld Ski tour open terrain · Naturpark Sölktäler
An impressive view over the Sölktäler valley awaits you on the Karlspitz: The tour to the summit first leads into the Bröcklgraben, then south and finally steeply through the forest up to the Bröcklalm at 1,670 m. Here you keep left to continue in hairpin bends up towards the Scharte and to the right to get to the summit. Please note the wildlife sanctuary zones.
Ascent: After the bridge along the Bröcklgraben, leave the ditch at approx. 1140 m and head south. Then slightly right steeper through the forest. Several times crossing the forest path you reach the Bröcklalm (1,670 m). From here, keep slightly left in sharp bends through the sparse forest. From the forest line keep towards Scharte and turn right to the summit.
Descent: Same as ascent. From the Bröcklhütte keep along the forest path.
Route to Kleinsölk: Follow the road to Kleinsölk and continue through the village. The road narrows here. About 11 km after the Stein/Enns junction in Hinterwald, follow a wooden sign to the left down to the "Mössner" inn. Follow the road to the first junction to the left - park on the right at the roadside.
Arrival at Stein/Enns railway station with ÖBB.
