RICKERL | Film screening in the presence of director Adrian Goiginger

We are delighted to welcome Adrian Goiginger, director and screenwriter, to the cinema this evening.
He will be presenting his new film "RICKERL - Musik is höchstens a Hobby".

"Rickerl" is a film with a big heart for its characters, a reminiscence of the soul of Austropop and a declaration of love to the Vienna of the Beisl and Tschocherl, which will soon only exist in memory. 

After "Die beste aller Welten", "Märzengrund" and "Der Fuchs", Austrian director and screenwriter Adrian Goiginger's new feature film "RICKERL - Musik is höchstens a Hobby" is a melancholy and emotional story with plenty of black humour. 

Austrian singer-songwriter Voodoo Jürgens, whose songs are closely interwoven into the plot, lends Rickerl a deeply touching musical soul in his first leading role. The other cast members include Agnes Hausmann as Viki, Ben Winkler as Dominik as well as Rudi Larsen, Nicole Beutler and Der Nino aus Wien.
