33rd Spring Festival with Horses

2022 will again be held the Spring Festival of Horses in Ramsau am Dachstein. Lovingly put flower figures, carriages pulled by magnificently decorated horses and a non-motorized parade unique in Austria enrich the festival program. The supporting program naturally includes a lot of traditional costume and tradition. Musical walks, traditional costume dance groups and Schuhplattl'n and musical performances that make the festival tent resound.

The highlight is the parade on Sunday. Flower-decorated horse-drawn carriages together with traditional costume, music and Schnalzergruppen from the region form the spring festival procession of horses. In total, more than 100 horses of different breeds will be "in action". The net proceeds of the festival will benefit the mountain rescue Ramsau am Dachstein and social projects.

Program:
SATURDAY, June 11:
2 pm: Festzeltbetrieb'
2 pm: Musical walk away from the festival tent to the various stations where the flower arrangements are prepared for the procession on Sunday.
5 pm: Festival tent program with Schuhplattl`n and folk dancing
7 pm: Concert of the Trachtenmusikkapelle Ramsau am Dachstein
8.30 pm: Presentation of the Dachstein Hoheiten
9 pm: Entertainment with the top group "DIE MÜRZTALER

SUNDAY, June 12:
11 am.: The festival highlight with traditional SPRING FESTIVAL OF THE HORSES in Ramsau, with the various horse breeds, flower floats, music bands, traditional costume groups, small animal procession, etc.
Followed by festive finale with brass band music.
