On Hochwurzen, the skiing doesn't stop when the sun goes down.

Carve your way down piste no. 33 - a 3 km long track that is freshly ploughed every evening. Enjoy the unique atmosphere and great visibility - thanks to special orange lighting.

To take part in the night skiing fun, you need to have your own night pass. Visitors with a valid ski pass can receive a 20% discount on the night pass.

Tobogganing at night on Hochwurzen

The 7 km natural tobogganing track on Hochwurzen is one of the longest in the Alps. You can ride the track during the day and at night.
The new Hochwurzen summit lift carries tobogganers up to the mountain.

There are huts spread along the track from start to finish, which offer enough space even for bigger groups.

• Tobogganing track opening times: 19:00 to 23:00
• Hochwurzen summit lift: 19:00 to 21:30
• Every day from Monday to Saturday

Night ski-touring on Hochwurzen

Along the well-lit piste no. 33 (from Monday to Saturday) from the valley station to the Hochwurzen mountain station.

Night tobogganing on Reiteralm

About 1.5 hour walk after leaving Almdorf Reiteralm you reach the rustic Hochalm via a beautiful hiking path. From there you toboggan 4 km along the track back to Almdorf that is well lit at night.
If you don't feel up to the climb, inform the office in Almdorf in advance and a ski-doo can give you an easy lift - providing there is no heavy snowfall.

Lift up the mountain plus toboggan rental € 14 per person, lift up the mountain (only) €9 per person, toboggan rental (only) €5.

At night on Galsterberg

Night tobogganing on Galsterberg

The fully lit 5 km tobogganing track is as fun to ride during the day as it is at night. Toboggans can be rented at the valley station at Seebacher or Bottinghaus.

Special tobogganing package:

• Lift up the mountain, food, drink and toboggan rental for €30.50 per person

You can do night tobogganing on Galsterberg every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 19:00 until 21:45.

Night ski-touring on Galsterberg

Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, ski-tourers can also access the Galsterberg (19:00 to 23:00).

The ascent is along a signposted path through the woods - the descent is along piste no. 1.

The piste is unlit - please bring a headlamp!

Night ski-touring on Michaelerberghaus

Departure point: Moosheim train station. Take the train from here to get to Michaelerberghaus.
The piste is lit every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 17:30 to 22:00 - we recommend you to bring a headlamp.

Tobogganing down a natural track on Mitterberg

The 1 km stretch of well-lit natural tobogganing track on Mitterberg is just as much fun to ride by day as it is by night. Dependent on weather and snow conditions

At night on Planneralm and Riesneralm

Night tobogganing on Planneralm

Planneralm's 1 km toboggan track (start: Hildes Kegelbahn) offers a snow experience for the whole family.
The tobogganing track is lit every day until 24:00. 

You can rent toboggans on Planneralm at Sport Schöttl and Sport Scherz.

Night ski-touring on Riesneralm

A group climbs up Riesneralm every Friday with climbing skins and ski-touring equipment. The "Hochsitz" hut is open until 22:00 every Friday.
The descent is along a lightly lit piste (a headlamp is recommended).
