The Hochalm Trail convinces with its near-natural construction. Elements such as rock plates and stones, as well as the natural curves make this line the ideal route for trail beginners who are looking for a new challenge after the blue sections.

Opis drogi

From the Preunegg Jet, follow the Eiskar Trail to the Hochalm, where the single trail turns right just before the Hochalm below the road onto a meadow and leads into the forest below the Hochalm. The trail goes quickly with large curve radii and very flowy through the forest until it joins the Eiskar Trail again at 1,488m. The further descent to the Preunegg Jet leads over the final section of the Eiskar Trail and then the Schnepfenwald Trail can be ridden, which ends directly at the Preunegg Jet valley station.

Przyjazd

From Salzburg:

Follow the A10 to Altenmarkt. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Liezen. At the Pichl/Preunegg exit, follow the Preunegg road for approx. 3.5km.

From Graz:

Follow the A9 until Liezen. There join the B320 and continue in the direction of Schladming. At the Pichl/Preunegg exit, follow the Preunegg road for approx. 3.5 km.
