Have you ever seen a mountain hare or a marmot from very close? In our local museum 'Zeitroas', one finds many local animals in the special exhibition regarding hunting. You won't be bored there for sure, because you can even touch many of the exhibits. And you even have to guess what is in these mysterious black and white boxes just touching. By the way: Klaus, the mouse - the museum's mascot - will walk around with the young visitors and he is looking forward to seeing you!

Museum Zeitroas
Free admission to the Zeitroas Museum
The main themes are the tourist development of the village, the unique emergence and preservation of the Protestant faith in the Catholic Habsburg Empire, i.e. the time of the Reformation, Counter-Reformation and secret Protestantism. And, of course, the theme of the Dachstein, its ascent, development and exploration.
Interactive installations, historical objects, pictures and films allow visitors to sense and experience, guess and discover the special features of Ramsau.
Our "little" guests are also accompanied through the museum by our mascot, "Klaus the Mouse".
