Requirements: moderately difficult mountain hike, high mountain boots with profile sole, no sneakers!! short piece of vertigo required, persistent walkers

Equipment: high mountain boots with profile sole, backpack with rain protection, plenty of non-alcoholic drinks, snack, fruit, medication (which you must take during the day), sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, possibly cap), T-Shirt to change, camera, binoculars, hiking poles are recommended.

We take the hiking cab via the Ennstal federal road to Gröbming-Winkl. (880 m). Here begins our hike through the wildly romantic Öfenschlucht, which "cuts through" the two mountains Stoderzinken and Kamm. Past the Rahnstube (1,154 m) we continue along trail no. 28 to the Viehbergalm (1,445 m). We will greet the dairymaid Marianne only briefly and then continue to the Miesbodensee.
An almost circular moor lake which is surrounded by an extensive swamp. (For the brave there is time to take a moor bath!?) After the rest, path no. 28 leads us further along the lake back to the alpine pasture.
