The date for the next Nightrace has already been set: Wednesday, January 29, 2025
Once a year, Schladming becomes the venue for what is probably the most spectacular ski race in the World Cup winter: with numerous ski fans and a ski party that probably cannot be topped anywhere in the world, it is impossible to imagine the World Cup without THE Nightrace.
The Planai Stadium is transformed into a witch's cauldron as soon as the first athlete leaves the start house and heads out onto the floodlit piste. Here, skiers, service team and ski fans alike turn night into day - not to be missed!

Info about skiing
Finish slope
The finish slope of the Planai is closed up to and including January 26! The valley descent via the bypass is possible on race day. (Please reckon with detours on the downhill directly to the Planai stadium and on the access to the valley station due to the preparation works for the Nightrace).
Ski Depot
Please note that access to the ski depot at Planet Planai is only possible until 12:00.
Parking spaces
Both the parking garage and the service deck (underground parking) at the Planai Stadium will be closed on Tuesday, January 25, 2022! The ascent to the Planai is possible on race day via the Planai West, here are enough parking spaces available.
Access to the ticket office and Infopoint
The ticket offices as well as the Infopoint at the Planai valley station are open until 18:00 - limited access possible.
Ski bus
The ski bus stop has been moved from Planet Planai to Rathausplatz from the Saturday before the Night Race until the Wednesday after the Night Race.
Ascent & descent to the Planai on race day
via the Planai West cable car recommended!
