Planneralm
The highest ski village in Styria
The higher the better. That's why the idyllic family ski area at over 1,600 m above sea level has the best snow for you. Whether for skiing, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, ski touring, tobogganing or building igloos. The snow up there is a true all-rounder and promises fun and moments of happiness with all kinds of leisure activities. You've probably heard that the Planneralm is especially suitable for families.
The good overview of the area and the family-friendly prices speak for it. And also a ski school and two sports shops take care of the concerns and needs of young and old. The absolute plus point of the Planneralm, however, is that all hotels and apartments are (almost) directly on the piste. So the car can be parked on the parking lot for the whole holiday, which in turn pleases our nature.

T-bar lift Gläserboden
He was one of the first in the draglift scene and still runs smoothly today. The glass floor lift on the Planneralm. For more than 45 years, it has been on duty day after day in winter, bringing skiers safely up the mountain. A ride with him is at least as beautiful as the descent afterwards. And in addition still correctly beautifully nostalgically. Because where do they still exist today? The good, old drag lifts - on which you leave your personal traces side by side in the snow of the lift route instead of simply flying over it.
