Coming from the west, it is easy to take the Munich-Salzburg highway and then the Tauern highway (A 10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it is only about 25 km via the Ennstal federal road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Pruggern junction.

Coming from the east, the journey is via Vienna (A 23) and the Südautobahn (A 2), then via the Semmering (S 6) to the St. Michael junction. From there it goes over the Pyhrnautobahn (A 9) up to the junction Liezen and on the Ennstal Bundesstraße (B 320) up to the region, junction Pruggern.

From the south-east, the journey takes you via the Pyhrn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and on the Ennstal federal road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Pruggern junction.
