From the staves to the World Ski Championships! Interesting history and lots of stories!

Documentation of the development of winter sports events around the first homologated ski run in Styria.

From the beginnings in 1912 to the Alpine Ski World Championships in 1982 and the current women's ski world cup race.

The development of locomotion in the snow is shown to the visitor in various representations. Apart from the first attempts to master the winter element snow in Nordic areas, early contacts with this element are shown here.

Free admission to the winter sports museum

Presentation of the history of skiing and winter sports in general, with a special focus on the development of winter sports in the municipality of Haus im Ennstal with the Hauser Kaibling.
