Please note that outside operating hours and after the end of the season the huts and the infrastructure on the mountain are closed.
Adventures on Hauser Kaibling
Important information on summer operations 2024: Due to the construction of a new cable car system, regular summer operations on Hauser Kaibling will not be possible in summer 2024. The ascent to Hauser Kaibling is only possible with the Tauern cable car (in Haus). The 8-seater gondola lift and the 4-seater chairlift "Quattralpina" will remain closed.
We ask for your understanding that our family offers such as downhill disc golf, petting zoo, children's adventure trail and various play stations on the mountain cannot be offered in summer 2024 due to the construction work. Exception: Schafsinn pond, where unsupervised activities such as the barefoot trail, sheep climbing route, sheep jumping etc. - excluding water zorbing - will be available. Wollis Kids Park - the leisure park directly at the valley station - is open for children and families.

Hauser Kaibling valley station
With water zorbing, a tubing track, aqua paddler boats, an e-trail course and lots of experiences centred around the local wildlife, the Wollis Kids Park at the Hauser Kaibling valley station will be a real highlight for families. A cosy chill-out area with a food truck - serving delicious burgers, ice cream and more - is available for a break or to watch the children let off steam.
Alpine Lamb - Project
Experience sheep up close
Every summer over 800 sheep spend their summer vacation at Hauser Kaibling. The large herd is looked after by a mountain shepherd and his sheepdog. The focus is on producing a high-quality product - the “Ennstal lamb”. At the same time, the alpine landscape is maintained ecologically, biodiversity is preserved and overgrowth is prevented. The highlight of the Alpine lamb project is the annual Styrian Alpine lamb festival on the last Sunday in July.
