The valley lift station is your starting point for a ski tour up the Galsterberg to the Bottinghaus or the Galsterbergalmhütte. The route is skiable and floodlit Tue, Thu and Sat from 7 to 11 p.m. Pistes are closed after 11 p.m. for grooming operations.

The ascent leads the first meters of altitude over the slope to Pirklam. There you turn left into the snow-covered forest - away from the slopes. After crossing the toboggan run several times, you pass the mountain station and follow the path to the Galsterbergalmhütte.
Opening hours for ski tourers:
During the day, use of piste 1 is permitted. All pistes are closed daily from 17.00 hours. Exception: Piste No. 1 is also open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 7 pm till 11 pm as a ski route and is therefore open for touring in the evening. The use is at your own risk.
From 11 pm all pistes are closed for preparation work. The use of the pistes outside the opening hours is life-threatening and strictly forbidden (use of piste equipment with winch).

TIP : For experienced skiers the tour can be continued on the Pleschnitzzinken (2.112m) at your own risk.
