In winter, the ski bus stops close by, taking you comfortably to the Ski Amadé ski area with its four interlinked mountains of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen, and Reiteralm, and to all-year-round skiing on the Dachstein glacier, or to the Ramsau ski region. The well-groomed cross-country trails literally pass our front door. The 1st Austrian Nature and Environment Adventure Trail - for big and small explorers alike - can be reached by foot from Haus Brandner, and it takes just five minutes by car to get to Schladming town centre.
