"From the street, the house almost looks like it's smiling."
The children have moved out, the beloved dog has died, and the house suddenly feels much too big for Doris and Martin Rothemund - and so the two decide to sell the house and move into a cozy, small condominium. The Rothemund couple spent a long time looking for suitable buyers for their idyllic villa on the outskirts of town. The main concern was to find worthy successors. The next generation should leave the house exactly as it is. After all, it is perfect. Soon interested buyers are found. On the day the keys are handed over, everyone is in good spirits, but this is only the beginning of a merciless room battle between the generations and life plans.
