Gourmet chef Richard Rauch develops alpine dishes together with hut keepers

It will be a summer of culinary delights. In a double sense. Since June 2019, hikers in Schladming-Dachstein have been able to enjoy high-class cuisine high up on various alpine pastures. The 33-year-old star chef Richard Rauch - known in Germany from the TV cooking programme "Küchenschlacht" and from the daily ORF programme "Schmeckt perfekt" - is developing a special alpine dish together with the hut owners. The hut keeper will offer their dishes throughout the summer in their alpine huts. Richard Rauch guarantees that the dishes will be exceptional and extraordinarily tasty. After all, he has been awarded with a Gault Millau toque since 2006 and was declared as Chef of the Year in 2014 with 17 out of a possible 20 points.

An ideal culinary hiking week in Schladming-Dachstein now looks like this: Hike every day to a different one of the participating huts and order the special dish.
