Gourmet chef Richard Rauch develops alpine dishes together with hut hosts
After a successful start to the project in June 2019, “Almkulinarik by Richard Rauch” will now be available in winter and in summer. Star chef Richard Rauch - known in Germany from the TV cooking show "Küchenschlacht" and from daily ORF program "Schmeckt perfekt" - develops a special Alpine-style dish together with the hut owner, which will then be offered throughout the winter at their hut. Richard Rauch guarantees that the dishes will be exceptional and extraordinarily tasty. After all, he has been awarded a Gault Millau toque since 2006 and was crowned “Chef of the Year” in 2014 with 17 out of a possible 20 points.
Hiking and other summer activities along with outstanding food
An ideal culinary summer holiday in Schladming-Dachstein looks like this: Enjoy summertime activities to your heart’s content and stop in at a different participating hut every day, where you will be able to order their specialty Almkulinarik dish. A total of 14 different huts alongside the slopes and hiking paths in the Schladming-Dachstein Region are taking part.
