You decide whether you want to climb up to the Gläserboden next to the ski slope or take the comfortable variant with the lift. At the top station you turn eastwards and walk to the small saddle in front of the Großer Rotbühel. Take off the skins, because from there follows a steep descent down to the Plientensattel. For the following ascent to the Hintergullingspitze you put on your skins again. You can also forego the summit and traverse the summit structure below. In an easy up and down you finally reach the Kreuzberg. Descend to the west until you reach the forest road that has not been cleared. Follow this road to the Lärchkaralm and on to Hinterwald in Donnersbachwald. This tour is a rarely used and lonely route, which compensates you with extensive views. read more Turn off the Ennstalbundesstraße (B320) at the crossing Trautenfels in direction Irdning, Donnersbach, Donnersbachwald.
